A FABULOUS AND EXTREMELY RARE PAIR OF EARLY SILVER MOUNTED CHAMPAGNE DECANTERS.
An early pair of silver mounted decanters.
- This is a superb pair of silver mounted champagne decanters from the first half of the 19th Century. These stunning examples are of classic 'bottle' shape with silver collars and matching cork and silver stoppers in fruiting vine pattern. One bottle is in Bristol Blue and the other in the much sought after amethyst colourway. The corks are held in place with hallmarked silver buttons and the lids are also part marked. A wonderful find, in amazing condition and still usable today.
