A RARE REGENCY SILVER MOUNTED PEPPER CASTER.
A rare Regency silver mounted pepper caster.
- A gorgeous silver mounted pepper caster from the Regency period. This delightful and large example has an suated and tapering body with cross-hatch cutting to the corners and barrel cutting to the sides. There is a band of hobnail aand slice cutting to the tapering shoulders. The pull-off lid is hallmarked and has a domed top and cap finial. A wonderful example from the Georgian dining table, both practical and decorative and it's large capacity would serve either for pepper or a s mall sugar caster.

Condition :- Very good with no splits or losses to the silver. The glass is very good with no chips or cracks.
Hallmarks :- Softening but readable.
